Week 8, Friday, Meghan

So I NEVER take pictures of buildings. I think it may be because I don’t venture out of my beaten path on work days… so why not take a picture of something on that path, right?

f/4, 1/500, ISO 400

… might be a pretty place for a senior picture…

Week 8, Laurie

I guess I’m dabbling in and out of this challenge, but that’s okay. I’ll post as often as I can. This weekend I focused on birds. Did a lot of bird shots, which I don’t normally do.

Week 8 Challenge, year 2

September topic: Composition

Vary your subject. Do you take pictures of mostly people, places, or things? Choose one of the other two and shoot that this week.

Week 7, Saturday, Meghan

f/3.5, 1/400, ISO 400

I enjoyed this week – I got some interesting photos! Not something I had thought about before.

Week 7 Challenge, year 2

September topic: Composition

Take a look at the rule of odds. This one’s pretty easy: take pictures of things in odd-numbered groups. See what you can do!

Week 6, Meghan, Sunday

f/3.2, 1/320, ISO 400, SOOC

I didn’t take too many pictures this week – I forgot about this whole “work” thing… you know, it really gets in the way of my super important hobbies… sheesh. Anyway, G was pretty willing to smile at the camera, so I got lucky! Picked a pretty straight forward frame and bata-bing – descent picture! My goal next week: get the camera out more!!

Happy snapping!

Jolina week 5

It was such a overcast rainy of and on day. I went into full auto with these shots.. just adjusted my white balance to cloudy again. But still they came out super dark for my liking. I will try again this sunday. She plays for the next 3 weeks. I want to get the ball a little clearer also. leaving such a huge space on one side of the photo is so hard for me. But I will get better.
